The Details

Emma and Adam held their wedding in August 2015 at the beautiful Capriole Estate. Emma is a wedding photographer herself and after previously working with her on a bunch of weddings, we knew this was going to be an awesome day!

This couple did all of the planning and organising themselves and the very clever Adam actually built a bunch of bespoke furniture that was used on the day. The whole event was really personal and fun and they spent a long time sourcing funky, unique styling elements to be used on the day. Julia from Ginger, Lily & Rose did an amazing job bringing Emma’s vision to life with incredible dark plum florals.

The whole team that brought this wedding together, was filled with some of our favourite suppliers. To be honest, we were kind of sad when this one was over… but luckily for us the super cool Lani Carter took some pretty sweet photos and Jasper & Ruby created an incredible wedding video so that we can relive the day over and over again.

I work in the wedding industry and have seen just about everything that can go wrong, go wrong, if I could recommend one thing to couples planning a wedding (especially a private property/DIY wedding) it would be to hire WHW. There is SO MUCH STUFF that you think you can get done on your own, or with help from family, but on the day it’s overwhelming and time goes way too quick.
