Anna + Doug
Private Property, The Bluff
The Details
Anna + Doug married at their private property, overlooking the lush hills of Greater Brisbane in 2019. With constant rain in the week prior to their wedding, we knew a wet weather option was a necessity. Although the weather was bleak the morning of the wedding, the skies held back just long enough so the ceremony could go ahead as planned and then the couple then celebrated with their nearest and dearest.
The speeches were not to miss, with Anna giving away her ‘secret’ party trick by fitting her whole fist in her mouth – this was captured by the incredible Lucy Sheedy, but decided we won’t include it here. After an incredible spread of food by Something for Catering and a scrumptious cake made by Doug’s sister, Nash Entertainment kept everyone dancing all night long. What a wonderful day, filled with love and laughter – Congratulations Anna and Doug!
We also can’t thank Jacqueline enough for the on the day assistance, managing to keep everything cool, calm and collected through the rain and the fog. She even, very thoughtfully, made sure the both of us were able to eat – putting a little charcuterie platter aside while we got photos. Her attention to detail and help in the lead up was invaluable. We are both so grateful and could not have had a better nightAnna
