Emma + Riley
Kenilworth Homestead, Sunshine Coast
The Details
Riley and Emma had one word in mind for their Sunshine Coast wedding – FUN. A lot of their friends and family traveled from far and wide to join them in their celebration. Therefore, it was decided to make it a weekend long party, starting on Friday afternoon and finishing on Sunday.
Many of their guests camped on the grounds or stayed in one of the dorm room style bunks, which provided lots of laughs and funny stories from the weekend. The wedding itself was a beautiful, natural and very personal affair.
The whole weekend involved as many friends and family (including their beautiful dog Bonnie!). There was substantial DIY which was combined with some beautiful items from Simply Style Co. along with, the most flowers EVER seen at a wedding. The venues was filled with beautiful, fresh blooms which not only looked incredible, but smelt amazing too.
A big talking point from this wedding was the port barrel belonging to the couple. It was carted it all the way from their house, to be a feature at their wedding. They also gifted their guests with small bottles of port from the barrel. It looked fantastic and was a very clever twist on the old-school guest book.
There was a very cool live band to provide the perfect atmosphere and finished the night with a good, old fashioned bonfire. Perfection!
This wedding was completely planned and coordinated, from start to finish, by Wild Heart Weddings. Each supplier was carefully hand chosen to match the style, personality and budget of Riley and Emma and all suppliers really brought their A-Game for this one! Wedding websites, budget management, RSVP tracking, guest arrival and accommodation, supplier meetings, and all rehearsals and appointments were all managed. And we’d do it all again in a heart-beat.
